Swatches: Make Up For Ever Blue Sepia Eye Shadow Palette + LOTD

I bet many already had Make Up For Ever Blue Sepia palette in their stash since it's been released for sometime already. (I am so slow in posting! *kneels* OTL|||)
I hope I'm not too late in posting swatches of the palette! ^,^

Packaging
I love the word 'Sepia' and I like the sepia tone too! Sepia is nostalgic because 50s-80s photos are printed in sepia tone. It brings back memories of those old photographs my family had which I love flipping through. Hmmm.. Where did we keep them?.. *ponders*~(@_@)
Make Up For Ever now combines blue with sepia! Wonder how this will work out.. because Sepia is usually warm tone *recalls my parents' old photographs* and blue is cool tone. I seldom use warm and cool together on my eyes, usually I would just use all warm or all cool.

Back of the box teaches us how to create different eye makeup with the palette.

Product made in Italy

Lovely print on the casing~
Eyeshadow shade numbers/names are listed at the back of the palette. The only blue in the palette is named 'Petrol Blue'.

Brushes that comes with the palette. They really come in handy when I bring the whole palette out. Different brush heads made to fulfill different tasks. Gotta love these slim & compact brushes!

Swatch
From looking at the palette alone, most shades look like they are matte but it's not. It seems that Black (#04) is the only matte one. Others are slightly more silkier in texture and have satin finish.
Below pic taken without flash.

Black is the only one that is hard to swatch as it too matte.

Pinkish pearl white (#152) appears to be duo chrome in real life, but it's really hard to capture that in photos. However you can compare this pic (appear almost fully white) with above pic taken with flash (looks like pale pink) to see that it's actually duo chrome.

Taken with flash. As you can see, black appears ultra matte & quite dry as compared against the rest. 2nd from left (#28) warm brown looks matte too but it actually has a tiny bit satin finish, thus it's pretty easy to apply on my arm.

LOTDs
Just a quick show of my recent eye makeup using the Blue Sepia palette. I had not touched the Petrol Blue yet, but I'm already liking the palette colours! They are very easy to apply and blend. ^_^
Below shows me using the 3 browns on right half of the palette (#98, 17, 127)

Close-up (Taken with Iphone hence, please pardon the low quality)

Below shows me using the 2 browns + 1 white on left half of the palette (#128, 28, 152)
This set is warm browns thus it look more orangey.
